Delhi Capitals 110/3 in 11.0 Overs | PBKS vs DC Live Score, IPL 2025: DC lose third wicket, pressure mounts in the chase

Punjab Kings seek their first top-two finish in 11 years as they face Delhi Capitals in Jaipur tonight in the Indian Premier League.

IPL Points Table | IPL Schedule

With 17 points from 12 matches, Punjab has already secured a playoff spot with two games to spare, while Delhi was eliminated following their recent defeat to Mumbai Indians.

The overseas players—Marcus Stoinis, Josh Inglis, Aaron Hardie, and Kyle Jamieson—have rejoined Punjab after a week-long suspension due to the India-Pakistan military conflict. All four are available for selection.

This conflict caused the May 8 match between these teams in Dharamsala to be abandoned after 10.1 overs due to a blackout.

Punjab has only made two playoff appearances in the league’s 18-year history, with their best showing in 2014 when they topped the table and finished as runners-up.

Captain Shreyas Iyer has made history as the first to lead three different franchises to the IPL playoffs. He previously guided Delhi Capitals to the postseason in 2019 and 2020, including their only final, and led Kolkata Knight Riders last year.

Iyer is the season’s second-highest run-scorer with 435 runs in 12 matches. The team’s strong performances have also come from Prabhsimran Singh (458 runs), Priyansh Arya (356 runs), Arshdeep Singh (11 wickets), and Yuzvendra Chahal (13 wickets).

Delhi Capitals’ season has struggled due to a lack of big early runs and the absence of key pacer Mitchell Starc in the final stages. They aim to finish on a positive note against the in-form Punjab Kings.
