The strength of Gujarat Titans this season has been their top-heavy batting, but that strength faces a severe examination against Lucknow Super Giants. Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler have carried the bulk of the runs, but consistency beyond them remains a concern. Against LSG’s disciplined seamers, there will be little margin for early errors.
The sluggish pitch at the Ekana Cricket Stadium will make strokeplay difficult, demanding patience and strike rotation. Gujarat’s middle order, including Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan, may be forced into a rescue role again if early wickets fall.
However, GT will also feel they have unfinished business against LSG after losing their last three encounters. This match becomes a test of temperament as much as skill, especially under slow conditions. If Gill can anchor early and Buttler finds rhythm, Gujarat have enough firepower to turn the game quickly.
